Find Citation

Find Citation search lets you submit fielded data to retrieve specific journal article citations.

Search Fields

Suppose you only know bits and pieces of the reference that you are trying to find - for example you may only know the last names of the authors (but no initials), or you may only know two or three words that appear in the title. In this case you can click on the "Search Fields" icon at the top of the main search screen.

You can apply fields to a search statement.

  1. Select Search Fields.
  2. Check the box(es) of field(s) from which you want to restrict your search.
  3. Type a term or phrase in the text box.
  4. Click the Search button.

Author field search: If you only know the author's last name you will need to add the truncation [$] symbol to the end of the name, as in Smith$.

Display all results for authors whose last names begin with "Smith":
