Using Search History

Viewing the searches in the search history panel: 

  1. Type your search text.
  2. Click the Search button.
  3. Click the triangle in the Search History title bar.

 

With the search history open, you may review your search results sets. You may do the following options within your Search History: (Search History Helphttp://site.ovid.com/site/help/documentation/osp/en/Content/srchhist.htm)

  • Display the records of a different history set.
  • Remove selected searches.
  • Combine results sets (AND/OR) (Applied to searches generated from the Advanced Search only).
  • Save selected search(es) (Required login to Personal Account, see Create a Personal Account).
  • Save search history (Required login to Personal Account, see Create a Personal Account).
  • Display saved searches (Required login to Personal Account, see Create a Personal Account).
  • Save individual search lines as Auto-Alerts (Required login to Personal Account, see Create a Personal Account).
  • Create an RSS feed (Required login to Personal Account, see Create a Personal Account).
  • Edit the Search History (Required login to Personal Account, see Create a Personal Account).
