Introduction

This guide is created to be a resource to you as you work on your assignments for LANG 5070 and LANG 5072.  It is especially related to doing an oral critique and annotated bibliography.


Intended Learning Outcomes

After taking these workshops, students will be able to:

  • Self-identify as scholars, in order to help bring meaning to their academic work
  • Name and describe the function of different sections of research articles & chapters to prepare to read, evaluate & question and critique articles.
  • Evaluate & compare different information source types (articles, books, handbooks, encyclopedias, databases) for possible search and research
  • Begin to evaluate GenAI generated content
