Library Toolbox on Canvas: Introduction & Default Resources

Direct integration of Library resources & Canvas (jointly developed by the Library, ITSC and CEI) into one interface.

Instructors, customize to link the library sources you choose.

200+ resources available to select from, which are divided into 5 main categories:

• Facts & Figures - include encyclopedias, dictionaries, handbooks, and databases with statistics or time-series data.


• Databases - contain 3 subcategories, namely Articles, Books, and News. Databases that are not in these kinds, such as British Standards Online, Emerald Emerging Market Case Studies, and Naxos Music Library, if selected, are listed above the subcategories.


• Citation Managers - include 2 reference management tools: RefWorks (a library-subscribed database) and Zotero (a free online tool).


• Help & Info - include Course Reserve (if any), and useful help info for undergraduates and postgraduates.


• Guides - include some general education and subject guides that are popular and useful to most HKUST students.
