SciFinderⁿ has been upgraded to CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform.

The new platform is now available with Single Sign-On (SSO) for easier access. This means you no longer need to register for a separate account. For more details, please refer to the steps to login to SciFinder Discovery Platform below.

The CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform, formerly known as SciFinderⁿ, provides access to a variety of reliable resources, including CAS SciFinder, CAS Analytical Methods, and CAS Formulus.

CAS SciFinder offers a vast database of scientific literature and chemical information, facilitating quick access to articles, patents, and chemical properties.
CAS Analytical Methods serves as a comprehensive source for standardized scientific methods across various domains
CAS Formulus allows users to explore published formulations and create their own with the Formulation Designer tool, providing details on regulatory information, toxicity, common uses, and more.

Steps to login to SciFinder Discovery Platform

For New Users
For Existing SciFinderⁿ Users

Go to the SciFinder Discovery Platform.
Enter your HKUST email address and click "Next".
Then you will see a one-time prompt to verify your information.
After verifying, you can use your HKUST email and password to login to the platform.

Go to the SciFinder Discovery Platform.
If you enter an email address that matches an existing account, you will be prompted to link it to your current ID. Click "Link Accounts".
After linking the account, you will see a confirmation message indicating success. Then, click "Log In" to begin.
