Course Packs & PTC

• The University's Media Technology and Publishing Centre (MTPC) makes course packs.
• PTC staff members clear the copyright with the Hong Kong Reprographic Rights Licensing Society Limited (HKRRLS) and coordinate the payment of fees to that organization.
• PTC maintains a FAQ on Course Packs. PTC can also clear copyright for materials that you plan to use that do not fall into the guidelines for free use in classroom instruct

Licensing Bodies in Hong Kong

• Hong Kong's Intellectual Property Department (IPD) maintains a list of registered copyright licensing bodies.
  • Contact them for a license, if your re-use will fall outside fair dealing.
