Google Books is a searchable database consisting of books and magazine articles scanned by the Google Book project.
However, most of the books indexed are still in copyright and not available for complete download or reading.
Thousands of e-books are now available at the Hong Kong Public Libraries (HKPL), enabling people with an HKPL account to get online books without having to go to the Library. There are both Chinese and English book databases. Below are some highlighted databases, similar to the HKUST collection.
