CHEM 4689 - Capstone Project

PowerSearch is HKUST Library's main search tool. It has three components:

• Library Catalog: searches books (e-books & print), DVDs, Videos & Music (streaming & DVD, CD, etc.)
• Articles+: searches articles from the majority of the Library's subscribed databases
• HKALL: searches the catalogs of all UGC-Supported Libraries and allows you to request loanable items

This guide will help you use and answer questions you may have on using the new platform.

One of the advantages of using PowerSearch is its filter function for peer-reviewed journals. The filter function in PowerSearch allows users to refine their search to include only articles that have undergone a rigorous review process by experts in the field, ensuring the credibility and reliability of the information gathered for research purposes.
