ECON 3700 - Writing as an Economist (Spring 2024): Writing - Scholarship as Conversation

When economists write about a particular topic, they are participating in a discussion -- informing the reader about their research and analysis, taking issue with particular findings and/or attempting to convince the reader of their argument.

Your professor would like you to read this short piece on "Scholarship as Conversation", and think about how economists communicate their ideas and findings. Prepare yourself to join the discussion. :)
